Before you get in touch
Frequently asked questions
Answers about AI integration, software projects, working with us, your data and the company. If your question is not here, email us.
AI integration
Do we need to replace our current software?
No. AI integration means connecting models to the systems you already use, through their APIs, databases, file storage or email. If a system offers no way in, the discovery says so and proposes the smallest change that creates one.
Which AI provider will you use?
The one that suits your task, data and budget, chosen by testing on your own examples. That is a commercial model API, for example from OpenAI or Anthropic, with the region and terms chosen to fit your data. The choice and the provider's terms are written down and agreed with you.
Will our data be used to train AI models?
No. We use only provider terms under which your data is not used to train the provider's models. We also check how long the provider keeps your data, and show you both before any data is sent.
How do you know the AI is good enough?
We measure it. Before the pilot we agree an evaluation set with you: real examples with the correct results. The system is tested against it before launch and after every change, and you see every result, including the failures.
What happens when the AI gets something wrong?
It will, sometimes, so the system is designed for it. Uncertain cases go to a person, a person approves anything that leaves your company or changes a record, and every step is logged so errors can be traced and fixed.
What does it cost to run?
There are two costs: building the system and running it. Running costs are mostly the AI provider's usage fees, which depend on your volumes. The discovery estimates them per month, and production includes spending limits and alerts.
Does the EU AI Act apply to our project?
It may, depending on what the system does and whom it affects. During discovery we note the points that look relevant, such as telling people when they are dealing with an AI, and design for them. Whether and how the Act applies is for your legal advisers to confirm; we give them a clear technical description.
Software services
What kind of software do you build?
Software that fits how your business works. Each kind is described on the software services page; in short:
- Web applications for your customers, partners or staff
- Internal tools: admin screens, dashboards and approval flows
- Integrations and APIs that connect the systems you already pay for
- Replacements for spreadsheets and ageing in-house systems
- Back-office processes: orders, invoicing, stock, reporting and approvals
Which technologies do you work with?
Mainly .NET and C#, ASP.NET Core and Blazor, SQL databases and Microsoft Azure. We also work with Python, TypeScript and React. These are established, well-documented technologies that many developers know, so your team can maintain what we build without depending on us.
Do we need AI to automate a process?
No. Many processes are best automated with plain rules: scheduled jobs, integrations between systems, checks and alerts, and documents generated from your data. AI is worth adding only where a step needs judgement about text, such as reading an email or classifying a document, and where it measurably improves the work. If a plain rule does the job, that is what we recommend.
Who owns the software you build for us?
You own the bespoke work: the code, documentation, prompts and configuration we create for you, delivered to repositories and accounts you control. Reusable components of our own come with a permanent licence for you to use and change them, so you, or another developer, can keep developing the system without us.
Who maintains the software after launch?
Your choice. Every project includes tests and documentation, so your team, or another developer, can take it over. Or we maintain it for you under a support agreement.
Working with us
How does a project start?
With an email about the process or system you want to improve. We reply with questions or a suggested time for a first conversation; there is no charge for it.
If the work is a fit, a discovery follows, then a written proposal for the build. Each step is described on the How we work page.
What does a project cost?
It depends on the scope, so we do not publish prices. The first conversation is free.
The discovery has a fixed scope and a price agreed before it starts. It ends with an estimate of the cost to build and, for AI work, the monthly cost to run at your volumes. The build follows a written proposal with scope, milestones and price, and any change is agreed in writing.
What do we receive from a discovery?
A discovery studies one process with the people who run it, for a fixed scope and an agreed price. You receive:
- A written recommendation, including what not to build
- A test of the idea on a sample of your real documents or data
- A proposed design: the systems involved and, for AI work, the provider and where data is processed
- An estimate of the cost to build and, for AI work, the monthly cost to run
- The risks and open questions
Can we stop after the discovery or the pilot?
Yes. You can stop after any stage and keep what has been delivered and paid for. Each stage ends with a written result: the discovery with a recommendation, the pilot with results measured against your own examples and a recommendation to go on, change course or stop.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the scope, so we do not quote durations here. The discovery ends with an estimate, and the written proposal sets out the milestones before you commit to the build.
Data and privacy
How we handle the data in your project, and the personal data in the emails you send us.
Can our data stay in the EU?
It depends on the task and on what the provider offers, so the region is chosen case by case. Before anything is built, we tell you which provider will process your data, in which region and under which terms, and agree it with you. If your data must stay in the EU, say so in your first email, so the discovery can check which options meet that requirement.
Will you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. When we process personal data on your behalf, we sign a data processing agreement with you, as Article 28 of the GDPR requires. Any AI model receives only the data the task needs, and we keep your data only as long as the work needs it, then return or delete it.
Do you use AI tools when you work on our project?
Only if you agree. If we use AI tools in our own development work on your project, we tell you which ones and agree it with you first. If you do not agree, we do not use them.
What happens to the emails we send you?
We use them to answer you and, if we agree to work together, for the contract. We do not put the content of your emails into AI tools. Emails that do not lead to a contract are deleted no later than 12 months after the last message.
Please do not send passwords, confidential documents or personal data about your customers or staff in a first email. The privacy notice lists every purpose and your rights.
The company
Where is Seni Solutions based?
In Sofia, Bulgaria. Seni Solutions EOOD is a Bulgarian limited liability company, registered in Sofia and run from there. The registration details, VAT number and address are in the legal notice.
Do you work with businesses outside Bulgaria?
Yes. We take on projects from businesses in Bulgaria and other countries. English is our working language: we work in writing first, with video calls when they help. Invoices come from a VAT-registered company in the EU, VAT number BG208575649.
Can we call you?
We do not publish a phone number. Email is the way to reach us; the contact page has the address and what to mention. When a call helps, we suggest a time by email.
How can we judge whether you are the right company for us?
Start small. The first conversation is free, and we tell you plainly if we are not the right company for the job. The discovery is a fixed-scope piece of work at an agreed price, on your own process and data: you see how we work and what we recommend before you commit to a build.
Have a question we have not answered?
Ask us by email; a few lines are enough. If you have a project in mind, add a sentence or two about it.
